Custom Printed Banners, Posters, Signs, Canvas Prints, Printed Digital Wallcoverings, Vinyl Prints

Our grand format printers produce high-quality and vibrant prints — nothing less. We print on various materials including banners, pole banners, permanent and removable vinyl for wallpaper use, digital wallcoverings, backlit for lightboxes, canvas for paintings, poster paper, transparent vinyl, mesh banner and many others. Our printers are green where inks are eco-friendly.

Banners are good to promote brands or to be displayed at events. Mesh banners are used mainly for fences or large buildings. Scrim banners are used for almost anything and come in different thicknesses. A most common banner is the 13oz because of it’s cost effectiveness. 18oz pole banners are used for light poles at ball parks, stadiums and arenas or cities.

Wallpaper and digital wallcoverings come in different types of textures. Interior designers love digital wallcoverings because of the versatility and the on demand prints. Each room can have a different design since minimums are not required.

Large format digital printing refers to the process of using digital technology to print on a larger scale, typically for creating large promotional graphics, signage, banners, and other visual displays. This method utilizes digital printers that can handle larger sizes and produce high-quality prints with vibrant colors and sharp details.

Here are some key points about large format digital printing:

  • Printing Equipment: Large format digital printers are specifically designed to handle larger print sizes, ranging from several feet to several meters in width. These printers utilize inkjet technology, which sprays tiny droplets of ink onto the printing substrate to create the desired image.
  • Printing Materials: Large format digital printing can be done on various materials, including vinyl, fabric, paper, canvas, adhesive-backed films, and rigid substrates like foam board or corrugated plastic. The choice of material depends on the specific application and desired durability.
Resolution and Image Quality: Digital printing offers high-resolution capabilities, allowing for sharp and detailed prints even at larger sizes. However, it’s important to ensure that your design files have an adequate resolution (usually measured in dots per inch, or DPI) to maintain image quality when scaled up.
  • Color Management: Large format digital printers use a combination of ink cartridges in different colors (CMYK – cyan, magenta, yellow, and black) to produce a wide range of colors. Some advanced printers may include additional ink colors or employ specialized color management techniques to achieve enhanced color accuracy and vibrancy.
  • Finishing Options: Large format prints can be finished in various ways to enhance their appearance and durability. This may include laminating for added protection, mounting on rigid boards, hemming or grommeting for banners, or adding special coatings for UV resistance or scratch resistance.
  • To get large format digital prints, Positive Marketing can help. We can assist you with file preparation, material selection, and provide guidance on optimizing your design for the best possible output.

When working with large format digital printing, it’s crucial to provide high-quality design files, ensure proper color management, and communicate your specific requirements to us to achieve the desired results.

Dye Sublimation Fabric Printing for Soft Signage, SEG, Tradeshow Exhibits, Sporting Events

Sublimation is a unique process of using heat to transfer high-quality, full-color, vibrant, scratch resistant and long lasting prints onto different types of substrates such as ceramic, aluminum, polyester textile, fabric, MDF, fiberboard, wood flooring, fiberglass, table tops. We can print up to 10 feet wide for polyester textile and soft knit fabric materials and 40” x 60” for all other materials. Fabric printing is a big portion of dye sublimation. We print all of our fabrics in Dallas Texas. The type of fabrics for printing we carry are:

• Fabric printing on poly knit fabric
• Fabric printing on block out fabric
• Fabric printing on backlit fabric
• Fabric printing on soft knit fabric
• Fabric printing on heavy knit fabric
• Fabric printing on stretchy fabric

Dye sublimation fabric printing is the latest way of printing banners. Great for folding and shipping.
As previously mentioned, dye sublimating on metals gives really bright and vibrant colors.Very popular items in the dye sublimation fabric are canopy pop up tents 10′ x 10′ – eazy tents. Tear drop flags, feather flags, tension backdrop stands, pillow case backdrop stands, step and repeat walls, table covers, table throws, fitted table covers, fabric retractable banner stands.

Dye sublimation is a digital printing technology that uses heat transfer to apply an image to the intended substrate. Also referred to as digital sublimation, the process is commonly used for decorating apparel, signs and banners as well as other items with sublimation-friendly surfaces. We do all these in house.

Dye-sub printing is a digital printing technology using full-colour artwork that works with polyester and polymer-coated substrates. Also referred to as digital sublimation, the process is commonly used for decorating apparel, signs and banners, as well as novelty items such as cell phone covers, plaques, coffee mugs, and other items with sublimation-friendly surfaces. The process uses the science of sublimation, in which heat and pressure are applied to a solid, turning it into a gas through an endothermic reaction without passing through the liquid phase.

In sublimation printing, unique sublimation dyes are transferred to sheets of “transfer” paper via liquid gel ink through a piezoelectric print head. The ink is deposited on these high-release inkjet papers, which are used for the next step of the sublimation printing process. After the digital design is printed onto sublimation transfer sheets, it is placed on a heat press along with the substrate to be sublimated.

In order to transfer the image from the paper to the substrate, it requires a heat press machine process that is a combination of time, temperature and pressure – each at varying degrees, depending on the substrate. This application will transfer the sublimation dyes at the molecular level into the substrate. The most common dyes used for sublimation activate at 350 degrees Fahrenheit / 175 degrees Celsius. However, a range of 380 to 420 degrees Fahrenheit / 195 to 215 degrees Celsius is normally recommended for optimal color.

The end result of the sublimation process is a nearly permanent, high resolution, full-colour print. Because the dyes are infused into the substrate at the molecular level, rather than applied at a topical level (such as with screen printing and direct to garment printing), the prints will not crack, fade or peel from the substrate under normal conditions.
